Hey its me!How are you guys ? How was your day , its me with another post for you.
So right now
I am doing Olevel ( O-1) and during march, April and may time(basically spring
time) everyone was so frustrated and confused about whether they should take Urdu b or Urdu a .I selected Urdu a and everybody kept telling me how I will
not be able to survive and how Urdu b is just sooo easy.I read an article on-line about how this is the death of the language Urdu and that lots and lots
of students every year are taking Urdu b so that they wont have to deal with
the pressure of being the best in Urdu .Now for those of you who are either
very young or don’t live in Pakistan and have no idea what I am talking about
let me explain:basically urdu b and urdu a is just two options of urdu we
students in Pakistan get, urdu a is advanced urdu and is known for being very
hard and difficult and since a lot of students are quite weak in the language
urdu they selct urdu b ( urdu bakwas as my mom calls it lol) so tha we can
focus on whats actually important, even parents nowadays are telling their kids
that we wont need urdu in the future and that it is not as important as physics
, chemistry and biology or maths,my mom says the complete opposite of that ,
she claims that we will need urdu in the future. My urdu personally is not as
good and I took urdu a to kind of challenge myself but then I kept telling
myself that this is a bad choice and that I should focus on whats important and
since I didn’t want to put to much pressure on myself I decided to switch to urdu
b in the first week of school. It is basically your choice on what you want to
study because the decision you will take now , today will effect the way your
whole three years of secondary or highschool goes and whether you will get A
stars or not, so just remember to do what your heart wants and rememeber that
this is your life so choose wisely and do you think that the idea of having
urdu divided into basic and advance is the death of urdu ? In my school
currently 80% students take urdu B which is ‘second language urdu’ while the
rest 20% take urdu A which is ‘first
language urdu’, but urdu is urdu , it will still be something difficult for us
no matter we take urdu a or b.This summer I started to collect lots of urdu
novels and books to improve my urdu so wish me luck on that ! (Two posts in one
day ?,thank me),till next time bye bye!
